This painting is a vivid representation of an extraterrestrial world, imagined and brought to life on canvas. I found inspiration in a Polish philosophical science fiction novel published in 1961 by Stanisław Lem. The book delves into the complexities of human memory, experience, and the challenges of communication between humans and non-human beings. "We don't want to conquer space at all. We want to expand Earth endlessly. We don't want other worlds; we want a mirror. We seek contact and will never achieve it. We are in the foolish position of a man striving for a goal he fears and doesn't want. Man needs a man!" (Dr. Snaut). ✔ The painting is signed on the front and back. It is on a gallery-wrapped canvas with finished black edges and comes ready to hang. "Solaris" was created in the summer of 2012 at the Island Studio in Jerusalem. About the series "Destination Beyond I": I had an inkling that there was more to the world than what met the eye. This curiosity led me to venture into the realms beyond human affairs - uncharted territories that few had ever explored. With my intuition as my guide, I felt a need to unravel the mysteries of these unseen worlds, to find the answers that had always eluded me. As I delved deeper into these imaginary worlds, my perception gradually began to shift. It was at this point that I realized the true potential of my consciousness - pure and living, unencumbered by the shackles of ordinary perception.

Alexey is an artist who seeks to connect with his audience on a deep and meaningful level. He achieves this by exploring the intersection between abstraction and surrealism, two powerful artistic concepts that allow him to express his inner world in a unique and compelling way. Alexey is not content with simply sharing his personal vision; however, he wants his viewers to be active participants in the creative process, inviting them to construct their own interpretations and narratives by engaging with his work emotionally and intellectually. Alexey's approach to art is grounded in a deep respect for the creative process and a willingness to embrace randomness and chance in his work. He is not constrained by preconceived notions or rigid ideas about how art should be created. Instead, he allows his intuition and imagination to guide him, taking advantage of the mind's remarkable ability to find order in chaos. Ultimately, Alexey's goal is to move beyond the mere replication of reality and toward creating a world that reflects his innermost thoughts and feelings. By pushing the boundaries of artistic expression and inviting his audience to join him on this journey, he hopes to inspire others to explore their own creativity and unlock their full potential as artists and human beings. www.alexeyadoninart.com
