In this evocative painting, I've captured the romance of a couple cycling through the Irish countryside, their bicycles cutting through the gentle rain that bathes the landscape. The impasto oil technique brings texture to the canvas, emphasizing the soft patter of raindrops against fields and trees. As the couple pedals along, typical Irish cottages emerge in the distance, adding a touch of quaint charm to the scene. The muted colors of the rainy landscape create a serene atmosphere, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the rhythmic dance of rain and the quiet joy of a shared journey. "Rainy Rideis" a testament to the beauty found in simple moments and the romance woven into the fabric of the Irish countryside.

I paint because for me it's a kind of meditation in which I lose track of time, designing and creating a whole new world that no one has ever seen before. Portrait is the most congenial form of art to me. It is incredibly interesting to observe people and visualize their actions and behavior, transforming them into images that can be depicted on canvas. Portraits of women are my special love. Women are ambiguous, mysterious, magic lurks in them. It's a bottomless world, like the rabbit hole Alice fell into. My paintings are not about female beauty, they are about her inner world, which is inhabited not only by angels but also by demons Sometimes I paint landscapes and flowers It turns out easily. Probably, painting them, I just relax :-).
