The sad occasion for this work is the death of George Floyd, who called people worldwide to the barricades against racism and hatred and raised awareness of racism as a still burning issue almost 60 years after Martin Luther King's legendary speech. This motivated the artist to create an artistic symbol for peaceful coexistence, that points to what connects all people - with the diptych BLACK & WHITE, a white square with the inscription BLACK and a black square with the inscription WHITE: Every human life is of equal value.
