The artist's background in commercial advertising and network television is seen in this work with the bold use of text. At first glance, one might read, "HERE, OUR HAPPILY EVER AFTER". But look again. In a world where movies and television distort our expectations of life being full of happy endings, the dream endings portrayed often neglect complete races, genders, religions and cultures. They are grossly under represented, and most often misrepresented. Entire generations and cultures, races and genders are wondering "WHERE IS OUR HAPPILY EVER AFTER"? The final painting was a accomplished in applying several layers of images below the text - on a color rich background pallette, there are two abstract figures. A blue figure appears to be carrying a limp green figure. One the top of the abstract figures is stippled painted text.

An Alchemist.
 A sponge.
 An interpreter.
 A window.
My pieces are concepts baked with deep narratives that evoke intense emotions intended to result in thought provoking memories.Themes of discord run rampant in Punk60's work. The beauty in death, stealing innocence, the crime of graffiti as a right to free expression... Everyday there is an opportunity to see art and beauty in our daily lives. I bring that beauty to you.

The artist has lived and worked in New York City for over 25 years, and maintains a residence in a rural community in western New Jersey. It is deep in the woods, where one's imagination can run rapid. You're welcome.
