2 out of 12 pieces - In my painting series “Playing Cards”, I explore my subjects of interest and their beliefs within the political history of our social world, and through combing portraits. By combining and factionalizing the different layers of our society and sympathizing with a culture lost, I grant my viewer a new yet old peek into a reality-of-life. By highlighting the facts and depicting the manipulation of power, I allow my observer to form his or her own individual interpretation, and to transform and inspire my audiences. Some may resonate with the different overriding stages of our society! Each work reproduces an honest and judgement-free zone, exploring the sociological perspective in class and inequality, combining wealth and the position one relates to to the rest of the society. 2 -12 painting pieces, “Playing Cards” by Golnaz Jamsheed (2013-present)
